What was I just saying about the lame Chicago weather?! It was scorching hot earlier this week, and this weeked it has been in the low 50's and cold again! What the heck. Oh well.
Grant is at his last "live-in" week for school before letting out for the summer (YAY!) so I've been trying to stay busy with the kiddos this weekend. Maybe once he's done with school he'll finally take a break from getting up at 4:30 every morning. He is totally crazy. Anyway, yesterday we went to Kung Fu Panda 2, which Noah didn't love (I'm thinking it was a little old for him), but he was pretty good until close to the end when he told me he was ready to go. Today we hit up the park until it was too cold and I couldn't last anymore. I'm still a wimp!
In other news... I had a root canal done about a year and a half ago and apparently you're supposed to get a crown right after the procedure. Well, I put it off because it was not cheap, until earlier this week the tooth was killing me. I didn't want to go to my dentist because I know he'd be telling me "I told you so" but we went ahead and got the tooth ready for the crown. I told him I didn't want the numbing shots and to just go for it. Oh my gosh...I was dying and he sent me home with a vicodin prescription. Luckily I've been fine and haven't had to fill it. I just can't believe I waited so long. Ah well.
