I heart L.A.

Grant had to work in L.A. the last couple days, so Noah and I were lucky enough to tag along for the trip. The weather was fabulous as always and we had a fun time hanging out when Grant was finished with his daily appointments. Last night we walked around Santa Monica and the Pier; it was beautiful. I always run into random celebrities when we are there... this trip I saw Dave Chappell at lunch and Jermaine Jackson at the mall. By the way, if you are ever in the area, I swear the most beautiful mall is in Canoga Park....there is also a pet store there
that always has the most adorable (and ridiculously overpriced) puppies! :)

One month old!

Here is Noah on his first day of life... that lower lip kills me. Below is Noah today...one month old! He's in his swim trunks ready for a day at the pool with mommy. I love taking Noah to the pool while he sleeps, and I can relax in the warm sunshine.
What a cute face and sweet boy. I love this kiddo. We're still having a hard time trying to figure out just who he looks like (other than the obvious identical chin as Grant). Who do you think he resembles??

Noah & Abe

It's amazing how much a baby can grow in just a few months! Cousin Abe is just 5months old and he seems huge compared to baby Noah. I'm sure Noah will join the big boys club shortly, especially with way he eats....he does not like to go hungry!

Great, Great Grandma

I took Noah to see his Great, Great Grandma Egan today. My Great Grandma Egan just turned 95 in April, and so I wanted to get some good shots of them together... I'm not sure how much longer she'll be around, so this was just precious. Grandma had a fun time enjoying baby Noah, and I had a nice time seeing her with her great, great grandson.

Noah enjoys a warm tub, just like mommy!

Noah and I flew to Washington last weekend to spend a few more days with my family, since neither of my sisters had seen him yet! Grant had to work in Chicago over the weekend so it was a good excuse for me not to be stuck at the house alone. I was really nervous that I'd be the mom with the crying baby on the plane, but Noah slept the whole way on both flights...yay! Mitt Romney was also on our flight to Portland...just alone in the exit row...kind of random.

Anyway.....we had a good trip to Washington and were able to attend Camille's seminary graduation, where she sang a beautiful solo. Congrats to Camille for graduating from high school this coming Friday, and for graduating from early morning (5:30 a.m.!!) seminary.

Tomorrow Noah will be two weeks! We are having so much fun with him and he just gets cuter everyday.
Here are the proud grandparents. Noah is the first grandchild on my side of the family, and is the 19th grandchild on Grant's side! It was so nice having my mom here to help out with the baby for 10 days and having my dad join us last weekend. My parents went home to Washington yesterday morning and now that they're gone...I'm on my own all day with this little monkey. Time for us to find some hobbies!
Grant and I took Noah to the pool at Willow Creek last Saturday and he slept the whole time in his carseat (in the shade, of course). :) Let me tell you how not excited I was getting into a bathing suit already... It was a beautiful, sunny day and it felt great being out in the sun.
