Preschool

Noah started his second year of preschool last week.  Florida has this awesome free voucher program where kids can go to certain preschools (most of them private) for FREE!  Last year he just did preschool through the parks district in Chicago, and it was great, but it was a lot more low key than the Montessori preschool that he's at now.  He has had homework just about every night!  And how cute is his little uniform?  The uniform is actually so great for him, since he has major OCD when it comes to his clothes, and he likes to change about 5 times a day.  This way we don't have to argue about what to wear to school now!
The best part is that it's every day for 3 hours!  Just what he needs, and just what this mom needs.  :)

Funny thing is... this kid can already read!  He still needs help with some words, but he is a super star 4 year old and is so smart.  Here's to a great school year for our little buddy!

Claire

How cute is this baby?!?

My sister, Camille took some pics of Claire while we were in Utah.  Here she is at 5 weeks old.  She is already changing so much, now that she is 7 weeks.  She is more alert and already smiling a bit... so many changes in just two weeks! Wish I could bottle her up like this forever.  She is so sweet, and we can't get enough of those rolls and wild hair!

Utah trip

A couple weeks ago I packed up the kiddos and myself and flew to Salt Lake.  Alone.  It was not fun.  (the flight, that is... the trip was great.)  We had layovers both directions, so they were LONG flights!  But we survived, and we made it.
We did a lot of swimming, and Noah mastered the diving board.  Davis even did a few jumps, and they had a blast swimming with yaya and their cousins.

We even hit up temple square and the new City Creek mall, which is so pretty, and enjoyed being in the DRY heat!

My dad's side of the family had a reunion at uncle Jim's beautiful cabin in Bear Lake.  It was so much fun to catch up with family, and spend time there.  It is so beautiful there!  I just wish I was farther out from having a baby... I was dying to get out on the skis and wakeboard, but it will have to wait until next summer!  Noah and Davis had a great time tubing though, and riding the Rhino and ATV's.

Thank heavens for everyone's help, and wanting to hold the baby!  I definitely had my hands full with the three kids by myself, and we were all missing having Grant around.  But it was worth the trip!

These two little cousins are the cutest, just one day apart!

This trip definitely made me miss the west even more, and it especially made me appreciate all of Grant's help with the kids when we got back!  :)  Can't wait to go back for Christmas.....especially with Grant!
