Lately

Daddy got Noah a pet tortoise.  Don't even bother calling it a turtle, because Noah will immediately correct you.  Noah named him "Ronny Cash."

Davis still thinks he's the baby.  He seemed to me like he was still a baby, until tiny Claire came along...now he seems huge!

 
And one more of Davis... this kid is crazy strong.  He always has been.  He climbs and swings like crazy with his knees practically up to his chin.  Future Olympian maybe?

Baby Claire had her first day at church today.  She slept pretty much the entire 3 hours.

 

Someone asked me at church why she looked so "ethnic" compared to my other kids.  Ha!  She is a lot darker and her hair is definitely dark!  Grant asked if there was something he needed to know about.  ;)

The last two weeks

The last couple weeks have been crazy!  We have been lucky enough to have had help from Grant's mom, Debbie, who was here while I was in the hospital and a few days after.  She was so helpful with the boys while Grant worked and while I could hardly take a step or move.

Someone from Grant's work brought him a coconut from his palm tree.  They worked on breaking that husk for about an hour last night.  Too bad Grant was the only one that enjoyed the fruits of his labor.  :)

 

Davis is getting a kick out of Claire.  I've just got to keep a close eye on him though because he is known to destroy!

My sis Sheree came right after Debbie left and she just left today.  It was so nice having her here to help for 10 days while I continue to heal.  I've even been able to get in some naps during the days.  I will miss that for sure, as well as her keeping my kiddos entertained, and the extra helping hands when I have more than one child screaming!

 

Baby girl turned two weeks yesterday and she is still a great baby!

 

Now I'm by myself with these three cuties all day.  It will be busy, that is for sure!  And now I've gotta run as I have two screaming, hungry kids calling for me!  Such is my life now.  :)

I realized today that I didn't have a single picture yet with me and Claire.  I was so out of it in the hospital and was in so much pain that it never even crossed my mind.  Here are a few shots we got tonight of me and my Claire girl.  She is such a good baby so far.  Of course she's still sleeping a lot, so that helps, but she is such a good eater too.  She'll take milk or formula.... any way she can get it.  Love this baby girl!

 

Baby Claire

Baby Claire is here!  She came out at 8 lbs 1 oz, 21" long.  We are in love with her and so glad to have a healthy baby and that all went well.  Now begins the long road to another painful c-section recovery and a wild household with three busy kiddos.  We wouldn't trade it for anything.
