Summer!

It's so weird living in Florida because there are no seasons.   But we are coming into the really hot and humid months (with a chance of crazy rain/thunderstorms everyday), and I think we will pretty much be living in bathing suits until September.  Coconut Cove has opened though, and we are so excited!

These two babes were having a rough morning.  What's worse than a crying baby?  Two crying babies!  It was so loud and ridiculous, I was just laughing and had to snap a pic.  They were hysterical, and this was at like 8:30 in the morning.  Early naps that day!  Davis was so mad we didn't go to the gym after dropping off Noah at preschool.  Not sure what Claire was being a grump about!
And this was at the Lion Country Safari splash pad.  She loved it, except it wasn't great for her crawling since the concrete killed her knees, so she just walked around holding onto my fingers and loved it.
 She is so silly!
And again at Coconut Cove on Memorial Day.  It was pretty windy, and the water is not heated so the kids were kind of cold, but we had a good time anyway.
And the babies were wasted after the beach on Saturday!  Every time we are at the beach, Claire is kind of tired and a bit grumpy (we must always go during her nap time), but she fights taking a nap there every time! Of course they fell asleep the minute we get in the car to go home!
 Nakey kiddos.

Noah turned 5!

We had a couple friends over the Saturday before Noah's birthday for swimming and a barbecue, then took him to Chuck E. Cheese and Pei Wei (his choice) on his actual birthday.  He has been begging to go to Chuck E. Cheese for the last year, so he had a great time!

Happy Birthday big guy, we love you!  I can't believe we'll have a kindergartner this fall!!

Davis' first visit to the dentist!  It took a lot of coaxing to get him in that chair, but he was fine once he realized nothing was hurting him.  Mr. Sensitive!
These two... they crack me up.  Noah got his new shorter cast and had to wear it for 2 weeks.  Then Grant took it off a few days early himself last week.  Noah thought he was the coolest dad ever.  Of course it was against my will, but he was fine.  He was over it and wanted to swim so bad!
 Nakey baby!
Just a crazy trip the store!  I go prepared with dum dums.
Claire was being so fussy and loud, so I gave her her first sucker to quiet her down!  She of course loved it.
Davis has been doing some swim lessons and is doing a great job!  He is a good little student and listens so well, but then after about 15 minutes, insists, "ALL DONE."
 The kid cracks me up.
Another visit to Lion country safari!  I am so glad we got yearly passes so we can go whenever we want!  Especially this summer when it's so hot and we can just drive through in our car and go on our own little African safari while staying nice and cool in our air conditioned car.  :)
 Best Frenemies.
She is such a water baby!  She gets so mad now when she sees the boys swimming and if she's not in the water.  She also gets really mad when she knows we're in the shower without her.  She loves the water!  Such a cutie chubba wub!  I love her little teeth.  She's got 8 now, and I think 2 more are coming in soon!  Love her.

Strolling around the neighborhood.
We didn't go too far... it was so hot, but they did manage to inspect some bugs.
Riding the rides at Lion Country Safarai.  Davis was really nervous at first (definitely my sensitive one), but then had a blast (also a daring one).
 Happy Claire!
Noah taking a ride on Sam the camel.  He LOVED it!

A friend from Noah's class had the cutest birthday party last weekend.  They had this woman come to the park with her traveling petting zoo and pony rides!  Such a cute idea.  They got to hold bunnies, chicks, pet some goats, pigs, goose, and some others I can't remember.  It was so cute!  The kids had a blast and did not want to leave, even though we were sitting there totally sweating in the heat.

Mother's Day

I got to attend my first Mother's Day Tea at Noah's school a couple weeks ago.  It was so cute.  Noah was pretty nervous performing in front of all the other moms that were there, but it was cute to see what they had been preparing.  He was really concerned and asked me afterwards if I actually drank the tea or not.  Ha!  He is so funny.
I took him to get a frosty cone at Wendy's down the street when he was finished before we hurried home to the other kids.  It was nice just having some one on one time with him, even if it was quick.  That doesn't happen very often, so I told him how much fun I was having with him on our special mommy and Noah date.  He asked, "if this is a date, are we going to a movie too?"  Cute boy.

My kids love taking pictures as we are running out the door, already late for church.  Especially when it's really hot outside.  Hey, at least there's only one crying.  These pictures crack me up though.  Reality right there!
I love these kids so much and am so grateful to be their momma!  They all so different and special and I love each of them and all of the craziness that they bring to our home.  :)
I am so grateful for my mom and mother in law as well!  I hope all the mother's out there had a fabulous day.  And as I do each mother's day, I pray for those who are longing to be mamas as well!!  xo
