We hit up the beach today. Definitely the last time for a while. It was so hot and the water was like bath water, so there really was no escaping the heat. I literally almost passed out after loading up the car when we were done. There's no way we'll be bringing baby in this weather, so we may have to wait again until fall. How crazy is that? We came home and jumped in our cool pool. It's crazy that our pool is colder than the ocean! Noah and Davis had a great time though and are officially used to the sand and ocean now.

baby girl
Baby girl will officially be here July 10! We're still working on names though...
I was at the mall the other day looking for some clothes and jammies on sale for this baby. The poor girl literally has like 5 outfits and 2 pairs of jammies hanging in her closet. You'd think with a first girl, she'd be totally spoiled, but we've been so busy with the whole move and job transition, etc, and the fact that she's the third child, she has totally been on the back burner! That and the fact that I have zero energy these days to even get anything done.
Anyway, one lady was so rude to me while I was shopping though, that it really bothered me. I already get enough stares when I'm out and about like I'm from Mars or something that I have two wild boys and am pregnant with another baby. I get the saying, "Boy, you're sure going to have your hands full" literally at least twice a day... no joke. This lady was so rude though, that I finally snapped something back. I really wanted to tell her to mind her own business and that I didn't know there was an over population crisis going on though. And people at the gym I joined here look at me like a freak! Like they've never seen a pregnant person, let alone a pregnant person that works out. If you even call what I've been doing a workout lately. Ha!
I'm done! So done being pregnant, yet so not ready for what it's going to be like with three kids! I can't wait for all the stares I'll get once I'm out running errands with three little ones. Maybe they're just jealous that my kids are so cute. :)
We had our first Florida playdate today. Thank you to such outgoing people in the ward for making us feel welcomed. It was just what we...I ... needed. Girl talk while the kiddies played. :)

Coconut Cove
We found the neatest community water park just a couple miles from our house today. We spent a few good hours there and left with season passes in hand.
Davis is fearless of the water, and did this little slide at least 50 times.

All of these pics are from my phone, so the quality isn't great... but you get the idea. There have been lots of changes the last few weeks! Here is our new home. We're just renting for now and hopefully in a year once we really know what area we want to be in we will buy. Although moving again in a year sounds absolutely horrible! And here is the new mommy mobile; I really wanted a white car for the heat, but we could not find the right one! Black will have to do... Apparently the Ford Flex is a pretty popular car in Florida!
Boca is quite different than any place we've ever lived.. It's funny how the summer here is treated like their winter. Lots of staying indoors or in a pool! And there is definitely a fair share of elderly east coasters (my fave...insert sarcasm here). ;)
Anyway, here are the boys swimming in the pool. Notice the pool is enclosed in a huge bug screen?! Crazy. Apparently it's the buggy season right now too, so we get the pleasure of dealing with bug spray or mosquito bites. The boys are loving the pool, and I am loving lounging my huge body on the raft to get out of this heat and humidity!
We spent about an hour at the beach last Saturday. Luckily it's so close, we don't have to make a whole day trip out of it. That was about all I could last though in the heat. I was dying. Noah didn't know what to think the first time he got some of the water in his mouth. He was spitting like crazy... absolutely did not like the salt water. Just like his mommy. Davis hated the sand again, even though he just got used to it at the beach in Chicago! It sure was pretty though and the water felt perfect.
And last but not least, Noah captured this beautiful up-close shot of my ginormous belly while I was working on my laptop. I met with my new doctor last week and I about died when he told me, according to him and his dumb little wheel, that my due date should be later. Only three days, but I was so,so mad. I'm already so huge and SO uncomfortable!! Plus, I've had the date of being scheduled July 7th in my mind for the last few months! Now he's changing it to July 10th. I could kill him. Oh well.
Had my first real melt down today since even being pregnant this time around. Grant has been around all day for the last few months, and he is seriously the most helpful dad ever. Let's just say I wasn't fully ready for him to have a real job again where he's gone all day! He started his new job yesterday, and luckily he is really happy about the new job. But my boys were seriously out of control today...even more so than they usually are! I lost it. I am so not ready to have another baby! I still think of Davis as a baby. How can I manage three?! It seems impossible right about now, but I know it will work out. I know I'm sounding dramatic, and there are much larger families than those with three kids, but adding one more child to the chaos seems so overwhelming! My first item of business in our new ward was hitting up the young women and getting babysitters lined up (since our last ward had like none). Still wish we just had family close by to help out, but I can't wait for a date night next week while we celebrate our NINTH anniversary!
And there you have it, Florida so far.

Last Chicago Beach Day
I could seriously cry looking at these photos. I miss this city already and the great friends that we have there!
Noah turns 4
This kid is obsessed with sports, and loves basketball! He loves uniforms that the pros wear and has been asking for a jersey for a while. Grant went all out with the Bulls gear (before knowing we'd be moving away from Chicago), and Noah was in heaven!
We went and got frozen Custard with his good buddy Max. It was a low key birthday this year as we were rushing to find a place to live in Florida and getting ready to pack up and move. All in all, he had a great day.
Happy Birthday big guy! We sure love you!
