9 weeks along

After years of infertilty treatments... it is official! Grant and I are expecting our first baby the end of May! I am 9 weeks pregnant today, and am extremely ecstatic. We have seen the baby's heartbeat 3 times so far, and all looks good. Thanks to a fabulous reproductive endocrinologist in Beverly Hills, our second round of invitro fertilzation worked! We are so grateful for the love, support, and many prayers from our family and friends.

My silly husband on my b-day...

So, my 26th birthday was Sunday. Grant's family had a "fiesta" themed party for me and his brother Talley Friday night. They went all out and had a 10 person salsa band play for all of us, and Debbie went above and beyond by making all kinds of Mexican dishes. It was fabulous!

Grant surprized me by trading in the Nissan Maxima that I've been driving, and bought a new (well, new to me...2005) Land Rover LR3. I was in shock, and couldn't believe my eyes! What a silly, silly man he is. He is so thoughtful for thinking of me and how much I HATE driving in the snow. This new beast of a car should keep me pretty safe. Thanks honey, I love you! :)

Best of Friends

Pedro (shih tzu - 3 1/2 yrs) and Grace (English bulldog - 8 months) are inseparable. They are so funny to watch play together, since they are so different looking and vary in size. They are very protective of each other. Grant is seriously in love with Gracie girl...they get up at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday mornings to watch the nature/discovery channel together. They both love the high def TV. :)
