The other day the kids were swimming, I was ready for them to be done and I could not get Davis to get out of the pool.  I finally bribed him with a thin mint and the chance to wear Noah's undies.  He came very quickly.
Noah thought Davis was so hilarious wearing underwear.  Minutes later though he just stood there and peed.  Good thing we have a lot of tile and hardwood in the house.  I am so ready for this kid to be potty trained, but he is not even close to getting it.  He does look pretty cute in undies.
This girl is a water baby!  She loves swimming and loves the tub!
 She's such a squish!
A couple days ago I geared myself up to taking the kids to the beach after Noah got home from preschool all by myself.  I hadn't done this before without Grant.  It actually went over okay, until it was time to leave.  Davis was freaking about the sand being too hot, Noah was freaking because he didn't want to leave, and Claire was crying because she was hungry...again...  Thank heavens 2 nice ladies close to us on the beach saw the madness taking place and came over and offered to help me out.  One of them carried Davis over to the ramp back to the car, and the other helped carry some stuff.  I was sure they were here visiting for spring break or something, so I asked where they were from, and they are from here!  That was by far the nicest thing someone has done since we've lived here!  Usually most people just stare in amazement at "all of my kids" or offer to tell me how busy I must be or how I must have my hands full, rather than actually offering to help me out!  So.......if you ever see a mom with her hands full, offer to help!  It will make her day!  We know we have our hands full.  ;)
It sure was a beautiful day though, and the kids had a fun time.  We all slept well that night.

That is just too funny! Isla is so ready to be potty trained but just doesn't want to do it!I was going to do it before we go to Florida but then I thought I would rather have her in diapers than having to go to the bathroom every ten minutes while we're in disney world. ha!
