Bipolar?

Wow. I am not ready for the terrible 2's. Unfortunatley, I think they have arrived early. Noah has been on one lately. He has these tantrums where he arches his back, throwing himself backwards, always bonking his head. You'd think one of these times he'd learn. Here he is in the bathroom at my infertilty dr's office. We waited in the hall for 10 minutes while he screamed at the top of his lungs for no apparent reason before going in. I sat there in the office thinking to myself..."why am I even here?! why would I want another child when the one I have is completely nuts?!?!"

We had a terrible drive back from Milwaukee, as Noah screamed at me almost the whole way home. I about lost it. Luckily Grant was home from work early that day. I dropped Noah off, left, and headed to a nearby spa and treated myself to the best massage of my life. Much needed.
Being a mom is a hard job. Maybe not for those of you with perfect, angel children, but I think most moms would agree. Sometimes I tell Grant I will go to work for him and he can stay home with Noah all day.

But it's time like these, that being a mom is the most joyful and rewarding job I could ever ask for. One smile from my cute little guy makes it all worth it, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

You're not the only one Bri! Bevan likes to throw himself on the floor, or do a head-banging routine when he has a tantrum, or to throw something. Because they started earlier with their tantrums, hopefuly it means it will be over sooner..... But you're right, one smile and it's all worth it!

The joys of having an almost 2 year old. YOu're definitely not the only one! Max has been SOOO difficult lately! I think the terrible two's start around 18 months. Watch out for the 2 year molars as well. Glad we are in the same boat :) They are cute little stinkers though.

He is quite a handful!!! Your patience is tried...and no, you are not alone. I think that is the ONLY comforting thing in a mother's life to know is that she is not alone in these CrAzY endeavors. It's a roller coaster isn't it??? But his smile is adorable. somehow they have a way to win your heart back those babies!

Oh, man. It's so true. My Megan will ask me from time to time if it's really worth it, and every time I say "yes". Absolutely! Isabel will make me CRAZY with something new (or not new) every day, then all she has to do is give me that look and I'm over it. They really are awesome kids.

He is pretty cute. He would be, with a hottie mom like you. PS, can you move back now? I miss you at the SM, and think we would have much fun working out then hitting our Happy Place aka Nordies.
