Las Vegas

Noah and I flew to Las Vegas on Friday for Jodi's baby shower. I was so sick while we were down there, so that stunk. I had the chills so bad Friday night that my body was so sore the next morning from shiverring so bad. Last time we were there I had the flu, so I am about to start boycotting Vegas. It was fun to see my girls though, even if it was just a quick trip! :) Noah and I had the whole row to ourselves on the flight back, and he was so good, so that was a bonus.
I came home to these beautiful flowers from Grant and some yummy cupcakes from "So Cupcake" for Valentine's Day. It is good to be home.

This little piggy...

Turned 8 months old yesterday! And this little piggy has (or should I say had) croup. :(
We spent half of Monday night in the ER with this cute kiddo, after he was diagnosed earlier that day with an ear infection. Noah was having such a hard time breathing, and his coughing was so bad Monday night, we finally took him to the ER. They diagnosed him with croup and gave him a breathing mask that he absolutley hated, and finally had to give him a steroid to help open his airway. Anyway, he is doing a lot better today, and I am so grateful we have good insurance and good doctors.

We've been cooped up in the house since he's been contagious the last few days. I am ready for a day out! Actually....I am ready for our trip to MAUI! We are leaving in one month and I can hardly wait. :)

Yum-o

We had a fun time at dinner at the Brick Oven last night with my siblings, cousins, and Grandma who was in town from Oregon. Noah cracks me up in this picture....he gets a little excited for his food. :)

Take some kleenex

Grant and I went to the movie "Marley & Me" today and I just about bawled my eyes out. This movie hit a little too close to home and made me feel so incredibly guilty for selling our dogs Grace and Pedro back in August. It was a cute movie though, and I definitely recommend it. Dog lovers especially.... I recommend taking a box of kleexex with you. :)

L.A. .....again.

Here we are again in warm and sunny in L.A., whilst it snowed like crazy in Utah. What a sad day to come home to freezing and snowy weather. Oh well.... the snow will be nice for Christmas... I just wish it would not come back after the holiday.

Grant and I saw little ol' Nancy Reagan at our hotel on Saturday as we were leaving, and I saw hot, gay, Bob Harper at Barry's Bootcamp again...haha. (Okay, so I'm about 95% sure he is gay...). I am still SO sore today from the workout we did. I can't even tell you how painful it is just to squat to sit on the toilet (too much info?). :) I loved the huge Christmas tree at the grove. It's like a mini Rockefellar tree.
Noah loved the fountains at the grove. We couldn't get him to look forward to take a picture.

GNO countdown

I'm up way past my bedtime.... trying to finish Twilight before I see the movie tomorrow night....(I know, I know... I am a little late on the bandwagon). Anyway, I am so excited to see the movie, but mostly, I am SO excited for a girls night out! I am couting down the hours to have a babysitter (my bro, Brandon...thanks!!!), and to have a few hours to MYSELF! Selfish? I think not. Mama just needs a break every so often. :)

Stressed much?!

This is how I felt all day today. I spent 4 hours in the emergency room today...just me and baby Noah. I was afraid I was having appendicitis (horrible pain, like someone was stabbing me in the lower right abdomen with a very sharp knife!), so I called my doctor this morning, and he told me to go straight to the E.R. since they would have to do a CT scan. OH man, what a nightmare. Four hours later, after dealing with a fussy baby and an IV in my arm, I left the hospital without appendicitis (thank heavens), but a prescription for a pain killer to help ease the pain from another ovarian cyst. I'm telling you....the last cyst I had (it ruptured though) was worse than labor.

Grant is out of town, Noah didn't get one good nap today, and I am just about to keel over from exhaustion. What a day. I am so ready for the weekend....and for Grant to be home!
