Busy weekend cont'd...
We finished the nursery...yay! I must say, for two very uncreative people, I think that it turned out pretty cute. Grant and I have been busy painting this past week, along with my aunt Nancy helping me stencil the grass on the walls. I now have the itch to start painting the plain white walls in my basement.

Shower
My sis-in-law Amber threw me a fun shower on Saturday. It was so nice seeing some friends who I hadn't seen in some time and getting to visit and catch up! Here I am with two other friends who are also due in May and are also expecting boys! Jill is due May 15th, me the 25th, and Dede the 10th. It's been fun getting to share stories/experiences with them along the way since they are both in the same boat as me, and I am so new and clueless to this whole pregnancy thing. :)
Thank you so much for the nice company and for all of the fun gifts! Oh, and thank you Sheree for making it to the shower after staying up all night waiting in line to audition for "Deal or No Deal....." :)
A busy weekend
My brother Brandon was in a scary car accident Thursday night. A guy ran a red light as Brandon was turning to clear the intersection, which totalled Brandon's car. He was taken to the E.R., but was lucky enough to only come out with neck pain. Time to start looking for a new car....what a hassle! We spent all day Friday getting him a rental car, taking care of insurance, writing police reports, etc... no fun.

Loves

For Valentine's Day this year, Grant and I went and got massages. Unfortunately, we've had better. I love getting massages more than anything else, and I especially appreciate Grant's willingness to give me back rubs almost every night since being pregnant. The bigger I get, the more my lower back aches and uncomfortable I feel. But when you're laying on a table, naked, paying a professional to do wonders, you want your money's worth for cryin' out loud. Breathe Day Spa...it's oaky, but we've had better. If you are ever searching for the best massage of your life, and are in the Salt Lake area, you need to book a massage at only the best place in town (they were completely booked when we called...). The Kura Door is hands down the best place to get a massage in Salt Lake City. Grant didn't think he liked getting massages until he'd had one from the Kura Door; he says the massuese there has man hands. You'll pay a pretty little penny, but it's worth every cent. http://www.thekuradoor.com/
On another note, if you're ever in need for some beautiful and interesting floral arrangements, Artichokes & Co. is another one of my favs. http://www.artichokesandcompany.com/ . Grant brought home some beautiful roses from there last week. They make great decorations even when dry.
P.S. Another love? The fact that we're leaving for the Four Seasons Costa Rica in two days! Can't wait to get this prego body into a bathing suit. I'm sure a massage from the Four Seasons won't let me down. :)

Warm weekend
Some reasons why I love L.A.: 75 degrees in February. Running into random celebrities. Sprinkles/Crumbs cupcakes. Pinkberry. The Grove. The garment district. TJ's..trader joe's. Visiting family. Going to the beach. Palm trees. $20 mani/pedi's. People watching. Did I mention the warm climate in February?! There's more, but I don't need to go on.... But we do hate the traffic.
By the way, for those of you wondering who the midget is that I have my arm around, it is Chewy from one of my favorite shows on E! "Chelsea Lately." I really am squatting all the way down...he is really that little! Grant also felt special sitting next to Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson at dinner this week.

And again....
These pictures are specifically for my parents to see, since they keep saying they want to move to Utah. We (mainly Grant) has shoveld this driveway about four times this week! Will it ever end?! I am ready to move... far far away to a land where it never snows. You can't even see our front porch, but it's been shoveled! :)
