Mary J. Blige made an appearance at Nordstrom downtown to promote her new line of sunglasses... I thought it would be fun to go see what was going on. Let's just say I did not fit in the crowd that showed up to see MJB. Blonde, white and pregnant... I stuck out like a sore thumb. 
One lady next to me was crying; she was a little excited to see miss Mary. It was hilarious.

He was pretty mad at me when I told him that wasn't Grandma. Maybe the short blonde hair threw him off. 
Yesterday was my big 29th birthday... last year of my 20's! Grant and I enjoyed a very delicious steak dinner at a place called Joe's, then walked around downtown for a bit. It was a fun night.
And these were the flowers I woke up to. They look like they belong on a table centerpiece at a wedding or somthing... they are so beautiful!
I love downtown Chicago. Such a cool city!
