miracle
I went to run a few errands today. On my way home, as I was passing by Draper, my heart sank..... I realized that I had started boiling some eggs on the stove a little while before I had left, and I completely forgot to turn the stove off when I left the house. I was gone for probably two hours with the stove on. I started speeding home so fast, and as I came around the point of the mountain, I thought for sure I was going to see my home in flames on the hillside! I flew through the red light on Frontage Road, and sped up to my house. I have never prayed so hard in my life! Okay, maybe I have, but I thought for sure I had burned our home down. Luckily, I came home to a house in tact, and only a horrible smell of burned eggs. Hallelujah!!

Does your house reek or what?!?
It's not bad anymore. I just opened a bunch of windows earlier and lit some candles and sprayed febreeze.... I'm just glad I have a house right now, and not a pile of ashes! ;)
You are so lucky! I can't believe it didn't start on fire. I'm glad everything is close to normal again.
Wow! I can't even believe it- that would have scared me to death too! :)
Well, I just read every blog on the page (sorry, first time to your blog site...) and I am beginning to think that Noah has decided to carry on the tradition of ER visits that you and Grant started! LOL I am so glad that he is okay though! He sure is a cutie! Although that is NO surprise with a cute mom like you!
Hope you are doing well!
Love, Kira
