The Big Move

This Sunday we are making the move to the Windy City....Chicago here we come.We are all moved out of our home in Utah (we've been staying with my parents this week) and are off for a new adventure, come Sunday. I am sad to leave our both of our families and our friends here in Utah. Luckily Chicago is such a cool city, minus the winter months. Come visit!!

Just a few things I will miss about Utah:

1. My family, Grant's family

2. Close babysitters!!

3. Our great ward

4. Lifetime Fitness

5. My hair stylist (shout out to Marisa!)

6. JCW's oreo shakes (maybe this is a good thing.....)

7. Boating with the fam.

Good thing Chicago has great shopping, the beach (Lake Michigan pretty much looks like the ocean, it is so huge!), great big parks, museums, zoos, etc.....lots more to do.

Fam Reunion

We went to Bear Lake this last weekend for my dad's side of the family reunion. My uncle Jim built a beautiful, ginormous cabin there that fit the entire family. We had a lot of fun together, although I was bummed I never got to ski since it was pretty chilly all weekend.

Camping and T-Point

Last weekend we went camping with Grant's brother Boyd and his family to Albion Basin near Alta. It was beautiful! Noah is still crawling, so he was a dust bunny the whole time. We had a fun time on our first family campout. We hit up just about every venue for 2 buck Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point today and it was packed...and very hot! The gardens are so beautiful there and Noah loved the little splash park, coinsidentally named "Noah's Arc." He was mad and threw a fit when it was time to leave. Oh what a determined little boy we have.....

More boating fun... We went to Jordanelle for my dad's birthday on Saturday. Noah loves the water!

I still need picture proof of me on one ski. :) I got up on my first try the other night at Utah Lake...Boo-yeah! We are enjoying my parent's new boat.

Happy 4th!

Happy 4th of July! We are so blessed to live in this great, free land.

Happy Father's day to my wonderful hubby! Grant is such a great dad to Noah. He is always so helpful with Noah and takes such great care of him. It has been so much fun watching Grant with our baby. He has so much love for this little guy. :)Grant and I also celebrated our 6th anniversary and decided last minute to take a mini-vacation, so we packed our bags and headed to L.A., while my sister stayed home with Noah. It was so much fun and we had such a good time. We saw 'The Proposal' (hilarious) and 'Year One' (we actually walked out...it was so stupid), went out to dinner, went running, did some shopping, and just had some good quality time together! It was so much fun we decided to make it a tradition to get away each year. Grant was hesistant and felt guilty leaving Noah at first (see, what a good dad), but ended up being so glad we were able to get away.

What a stud. Happy Anniversary and Happy Father's day, love.

Sundays

Church with Noah is rough every week. We have the loudest child on the face of the earth! The countdown until he can go to nursery begins.....

It's a good thing he's cute.

Dance baby

We like "So You Think You Can Dance" at our house. Noah is a big fan, and he'll dance on command.

Noah's birthday

For Noah's 1st birthday we took him to the farm at Thanksgiving Point and then got him his first ice cream cone! On Saturday we all went to the zoo and had a great time. Noah loved his presents and cupcakes and we had a lot of fun celebrating our little guy! Happy Birthday baby.
