We had a babysitter all lined up to go out on Grant's birthday but she called earlier in the day and was sick so she cancelled. We were so excited... it was going to be the first time we'd have an actual paid babysitter over to our own place. Oh well. Instead we took the boys to the zoo and went to Grant's choice, Epic Burger, for dinner. Noah was on one all day, so needless to say we left the restuarant early and put him to bed at 6:00. He woke up around midnight and threw up all over the bed. Totally the birthday from hell. Luckily Grant is a good sport. Poor Noah had the flu for almost a week.
Davis is seriously the best baby ever. He only cries when he's hungry, so he's pretty easy to please. And he's been sleeping through the night since two months! Literally a miracle baby. I could squeeze this guy all day.
We've been working with a behavior therapist from early interventions (a state run program) where she works with us and teaches us strategies on how to handle some difficult behavior. Last week was the first session, and I think it may just be coinsidence, but Noah has really been so good the last few days. When he is having a good day, he is the sweetest little boy ever. I hope there are more good days in a row to come!
