We've hit the huge Macy's here last year and now this year on the first evening Santa has arrived and all of their Christmas stuff is setup. It's a little early in the season, I know, but let me tell you... it is the best time to go! There was no line, Santa took his time with Noah, and they let me take my own pictures without having to pay $20 for their lame single photo.
Can you guess what Noah told Santa he wanted? A big guitar like Mr. Singer's. I guess his isn't cool enough anymore.

Today we went and bought our Christmas tree and will be doing some decorating tonight! I figured since I'm leaving with Noah on Saturday to UT for Thanksgiving for over two weeks, I want it to be all setup when we get home.
This will be our first year by ourselves on Christmas since baby is scheduled to make his debut on Dec. 28th, so I want it to be special for Noah. Time to come up with our own little family traditions! I'm actually kind of looking forward to spending Christmas in Chicago. There will be so much going on in the city with all kinds of holiday festivities, and the city will be decorated to the nines!

It's actually kind of fun doing your own thing every now and then! And you make Chicago sound like the best place to be at Christmastime. :)
Also, Noah is absolutely adorable with is guitar!!!
